Important statement from Kajima Europe regarding cyber security incident

Kajima Europe, in relation to some of its operations in the UK and Poland, has been subject to a recent malicious cyber attack.

We acted quickly to proactively manage the incident and to protect our systems and engaged external digital security experts to ensure that the threat has been contained and resolved and that we have robust protections in place to prevent a similar incident happening again. We have also reported the incident to relevant government authorities.

We have been made aware that an amount of data from one of our servers was unlawfully extracted and released on the dark web by the attackers. We are in the process of analysing that information in detail but believe that there is limited risk of fraudulent activity.

Our business remains fully operational and your interactions with us should continue as normal. If you believe you have received unusual or unexpected emails or other communications purporting to be from Kajima Europe or any request from us which looks unusual please let us know.
